Teach the basics of music theory to whole classes of kids with this theory course designed for the classroom. There are 11 “chapters”, each based on a topic such as notes on the treble clef stave, types of notes, basic triads etc. Pupils read each chapter (on their own or with teacher), take a test and self-mark their answers using their solution sheet. Pupils record their scores onto individual progress sheets.
This is the most effective and easiest way to give all your kids a basic knowledge of music notation - essential for the National Curriculum requirements, and a great aid in enabling your pupils to notate their compositions, assist in performing and respond to printed music.
