How to Order - further details
Most of the orders we receive are school purchase orders (with or without cheque) via the post. Here are a few notes regarding other methods of payment.
Note - these comments apply to UK customers only.
Cheque orders - schools
Many schools prefer to pay by school cheque at the time of ordering. That’s fine. Send us an official school cheque with our printed order form or purchase order. We will issue a full receipt and send it with your parcel. Please make cheques payable to Skorton Publications.
Cheque orders - individuals
Some teachers prefer to pay for our material by personal cheque. That’s fine. Please enclose an order form or letter with the cheque giving full details of the books you require. If you would like to claim the money back from your school later, we will send a full receipt showing your school details.
Telephone orders
We do receive telephone orders (our phone number is 0121 471 5125) but please note that we cannot send out orders until an official school purchase order or a cheque for the full cost has been received. So if you know what items you require, the best procedure is to send your order in by post.
Fax orders
Fax orders are welcome, as long as the fax is a copy of an official signed purchase order. We cannot send orders based on just an order form without first receiving a cheque payment.
Credit Card orders
The vast majority of orders are school purchase orders received by post. Unfortunately we are not set up for orders by credit card.
